Staff Combat Engineer, L5
Lead our team’s approach to combat operations.
You will own the combat playbook, lead complex engagements end-to-end, publish retrospectives, and partner with Infrastructure on defensive posture.
This is primarily an IC role. You may shadow-manage junior operators during onboarding rotations.
What you'll do
- Own and iterate on the combat playbook.
- Lead complex engagements end-to-end.
- Publish retrospectives and written learnings.
- Partner with Infrastructure on defensive reviews.
- Mentor other ICs.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of Rust experience (2,000+ hours).
- Strong written communication.
- Composure under pressure.
- Government-issued ID for verification.
Nice to have
- Tournament or event-level combat experience.
- Self-instrumented performance tracking.
