Staff Infrastructure Engineer, L5
Lead base design, electrical systems, and defensive architecture.
You will own the design system our structures conform to, chair the weekly design review, and maintain the electrical subsystems across our holdings.
This role combines structural and electrical work. Expect load-calculation spreadsheets.
What you'll do
- Own and iterate on the base design system.
- Chair the weekly design review.
- Approve build plans before erection.
- Design and maintain electrical subsystems.
- Own the electrical on-call rotation.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of Rust experience (1,500+ hours).
- Familiarity with the full electrical kit (AND gates, timers, splitters).
- Portfolio of five or more structures with retrospectives.
- Government-issued ID for verification.
Nice to have
- Formal training in architecture, structural, or electrical engineering.
- Prior ownership of a published design system.
